Kapow: Christian Bale and Tom Hardy fight it out while filming scenes for upcoming movie The Dark Knight Rises in Pittsburgh today

Fight scenes on the set of new Batman movie The Dark Night Rises were never going to be a walk in the park.

But when Christian Bale and Tom Hardy got into character today to film scenes for the action flick it literally left one of the stars with ripped clothes and bumps and bruises.

Bale, who plays Batman, was on the front steps of Gotham City Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Hardy, who plays villain Bane.

The two actors fought it out and onlookers saw elbows flying and plenty of action to whet the appetite of fans of the comic book series.

At one point in the fight scene Hardy's pants had a wardrobe malfunction as his whole thigh was showing out of his villain outfit.

The scene had hundreds of extras dressed as police men and bad guys fighting and there was also a snow machine on hand blowing onto the scene as they fought.

Blooming beautiful: Pregnant Jessica Alba looked radiant today as she attended the premiere of her new movie Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World in Hollywood

She's due to give birth any day now.

But Jessica Alba still managed to squeeze in a public appearance today as she attended the premiere of her new movie, Sky Kids 4: All The Time In The World, today in Hollywood.

The stunning actress was supported by her husband Cash Warren and three-year-old daughter Honor at the event.

Held at the national theatre in downtown Sarajevo, the couple worked the red carpet before Miss Jolie was presented with the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award.

Overwhelmed by the reception from the gathered crowd, the "Wanted" actress reportedly fought back tears upon getting a seemingly non-stop ovation after being introduced by actress Zana Marjanovic.

During her speech, Jolie graciously said, “I’m so happy to be in this remarkable city in this beautiful country and I’ve spent the last year lucky enough to experience not just the warmth and the hospitality of the local people but also your extraordinary talent."

Continuing on about her experience shooting her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" in Bosnia, Angelina stated, "In my career, I have never worked with such disciplined and talented artists as I was able to this last year."

Since then, Murray has made his career with an uncanny knack for finding scripts that will work well with his persona, even as his hair has grayed and his persona has evolved. Somoerset's novel is not funny -- not even a little bit. And neither was Murray's fairly faithful adaptation. Thus there was no audience for the film, but Murray showed that he could perform drama and do it well. After The Razor's Edge, he took a few years off, moving to Paris to study philosophy -- particularly Gurdjieff -- and history at the Sorbonne.
With only occasional exceptions, Murray's films are always worth the price of admission. There is something going on, or if there isn't, you can at least sense that they were trying to make something worthwhile happen. Even as the voice of Garfield, Murray brought a spark to the otherwise dull proceedings. But Groundhog Day is probably Murray's best film. It is the story of a bored, cynical TV weatherman forced to re-live the same day over and over again, until he gets it right. The concept seems almost routine and not too promising; it is unavoidably going to involve showing you the same scenes repetedly, and how could that not be boring? Thanks to an inventive script and a spot-on Murray, it's divine.
