When we look some time back in Bollywood, we see the actresses which were really hot and liked by the people at that time. Although these actresses appeared, worked in some of the films and left the industry and not then seen on the screens from a long time. They were appreciated for their work or due to their boldness and glamorous look. They had very few films in their account but are remembered by their fans, today also. 
 
Here are some of the heart throbs of then in the Bollywood who are not working in the films at present. Many of their fans will still love to see them on the screen, but they actually don’t know about them and have no idea of their well being or where they actually are?

Kimi Katkar

Kimi Katkar, became famous very fast and was known as a Tarzan Girl of 80’s. She is now a mother of a young boy named Sidharth. She is living in Pune and according to reports; she is now a house wife and keeps herself engaged in the various household works. After marrying to a photographer Shantanu Shori, she had discovered her creative character within herself. She loves to paint, cook, and feels satisfied and happy doing other house hold works for her family. 

She says that she had left the industry to retain her mental control. She also adds that when she is recognized by the people, as Kimi katkar, she likes it. 

Kimi as a bold, beautiful and Bindaas actress of then, is yet remembered by her fans.

Mandakini

A very hot actress of ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ got all the one night fame from this very film. She has yet retained her beauty and is remembered by her fans. Today also when people see her, their heart throbbing gets increased.
Yasmin Joseph was the actual name of this bold and beautiful actress.  She got married with Dr. Thakur and is spending very great time with her family. She actively participates in the Tibetian Yoga and met her life partner in these classes. Dr. Thakur says that Mandakini is very happy, being a house wife, with her family and two children.

Mamta Kulkarni

The very beautiful and hot actress of Bollywood, Mamta Kulkarn, was the heart throb of the youth. Saif Ali Khan, who is Today’s great star, had firstly worked with Mamta, but Mamta disappeared from the industry.  There are no ideas of well being of Mamta Kulkarni, but only guesses are there for her. No one knows that where she is? It is being reported that had indulged herself with the drugs business and is now under the bars. Some also says that she is in America and some others say that she is mentally ill at present as she had not coped up with her profession.

She was seen Topless on a magazine cover in 1993 and was highly criticized for it. Their neighbors in Mumbai said that she was seen in 2007 last time. Some believes that she is in Dubai and is waiting for the release of her boyfriend from the jail.

Meenakshi Sheshadri

Meenakshi is one of the hot actresses which are counted as the perfect classical dancers. She had worked with approximately all the big directors and producers in her film career. Also she had worked with the top stars like Amitabh Bacchan, Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, etc. She became a leading actress in Bollywood of then by giving some super hits like ‘Damini’ and ‘Hero’. She was also known for her relations with Rajkumar Santoshi at that time.

She is presently reported to be with her Banker husband Harish Mysore in Dallas, America. She teaches the dance and is spending her happy moments of life with her two children. She appears in Mumbai in her vacations and also she Visits India once for giving the performance.

Anita Raj

Many of the fans of Anita Raj thinks that where she had gone? She was the hot actress of the Bollywood which became famous ‘in one night’ by her debut film in 1982(Prem Geet). She was much known for her famous dialog ‘Chakku maar Dungi’. 

She married Sunil Hingorani in 1992 and at present she helps her husband in his optical store in Mumbai. She proudly says that her son is 20 years old and is studying in America. She also says that if she is offered a good role, she can yet do the films.

Sonu Walia

She was referred to as ‘Parveen Babi’ of 50’s. She is planning for being a producer and says that she had not thought about reentering in films. She also adds that after 1995, when she started her family, she was totally engaged in her in the caring of her daughter. 


She is planning for a low budget film at present, with the help of her husband Pratap Singh.

Annu Agarwal

Hit from her first film, this ‘Ashiqui Girl’ became famous in one night. She was the heart throb of the youth. 

She backed to Mumbai after 15 years of dropping the film industry. At present she is busy teaching Yoga and meditation. She says that she had not yet thought of marriage and she loves poems and stories. 

She also adds that ‘she is writing a book loves to remain cool and calm. She is with god.’ She was launched under a great banner of Mahesh Bhatt but could not do many films with him.
